Installation of a shelving unit in Central Europe

  • Type: Picktower, shelves racking
  • Area: 25,000 m2
  • Height: 14 m
  • Number of hours: 78,000 h

Currently, we are implementing the installation of a shelving unit for our client, which will be a part of one of the largest logistics centers in Central Europe.

The process of such a large project begins long before the actual implementation.

Negotiations with the customer about the project’s capacity and price can take place up to six months in advance.

Then comes the planning of suitable mechanization, tools, accommodation, but most importantly, the placement of experienced installation workers who have experience with similar projects. The total station measures, so that maximum precision in tenths of millimeters over large distances for customers is guaranteed.

Around 100 workers are involved in this particular project, which lasts from the fall of 2022 to the end of the summer of 2023.

Organizing and managing teams are crucial for large projects, both from the project manager and site supervisor, as well as delegating tasks among supervisors, team leaders, and their teams.

Coordination and reporting between us and our clients are also necessary, with any changes addressed promptly.

While not everything can be planned in detail, changes in projects are a daily occurrence, and we can efficiently respond to them thanks to our experience. This is our value, and customers use our services because we can face problems and flexibly solve them together.

However, even a small change can have a significant financial impact. Therefore, our customer appreciates timely solutions and a team approach.

Currently, we are in the middle of the installation and helping the customer address minor technical deficiencies.

The customer is very satisfied with our work.
